[jira] Closed: (INFRA-3033) Availids not in pmc-chairs
Posted by "Gavin (JIRA)" <ji...@apache.org>.

Gavin closed INFRA-3033.
------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
I get it now, all these were recently graduated or otherwise split off into a TLP
PMC Chairs are added to the LDAP group as part of the TLP creation process.
Pig and Juddi have been done as part of their TLP move request.
Shiro and Hive will follow when they decide to file Infra requests to move to being a TLP.

Hi Sebb,
Is there some sort of step being missed by someone?
Why are these not listed, whos responsibility is it do ensure they are listed?
Why is this an Infra issue?
Thanks.

I guess so.
A TLP chair "changed" because a TLP was created.
> Why are these not listed,
The file committee-info.txt does include instructions for change of TLP chair.
As does asf-auth
> whos responsibility is it do ensure they are listed?
Presumably whoever updates/maintains committee-info.txt.
I just did a validation check on it and found the discrepancy so I raised the issue.
> Why is this an Infra issue?
AFAIK, special karma is needed to update the pmc-chairs LDAP list - there is no public script for it.
If that changes, then the instructions in c-i.txt and elsewhere (asf-auth and website?) need to be updated.
