UIMA supports Perl, Python and TCL ... ?

I wonder when the somebody used whatever Perl or TCL support there may be.

Even success stories using the "native" UIMA Python bindings are rare if present at all.

Should we really continue to advertise this?

FWIW - we have moved to using network clients that speak an 'XCAS' like
variant in JSON. That being said short of spending some quality time with
SWIG over the UIMA-C++ stack I would tend to agree...
