[jira] [Created] (INFRA-6354) Migrate Mesos website files from from SVN to Git

Andy Konwinski created INFRA-6354:
-------------------------------------

Summary: Migrate Mesos website files from from SVN to Git
                 Key: INFRA-6354
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-6354
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Task
      Security Level: public (Regular issues)
            Reporter: Andy Konwinski

I'll copy and paste my comment from https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-6065?focusedCommentId=13676287&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel#comment-13676287 here:

Just wondering if we should continue to use SVN for our website since it was at https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/mesos/www/ and I think what we migrated was https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/mesos/trunk/.

We probably should have caught this sooner, sorry about that.

Are any other projects coming up against the same issue? I guess we could just switch to keeping the site in a directory within the project directory or possibly a git branch.

Another option is to just keep it in SVN where it is (assuming that repo is still readable).

Short of advice we receive from INFRA, do any other Mesos PPMC members or mentors have thoughts on this?
