Renaming file with Maven 2 without Ant
Hi,
Is it possible to rename file with Maven2 without Ant? I spent some time
for digging this information for web but no luck.

You can rename files with the assembly plugin. Depending on what type of
file it is you want to rename it may or may not make sense to do it in/with
assembly.

Yes I know, I have allready done this plugin, but I just wanted to know
if some plugin has allready this functionality ;-).

Mojo plugins (for something like this) are exceptionally trivial --
you should give it a try.

Two things come to my mind: First you can try to use the maven-ant plugin
(which you exclude), and second one - you can try to write your own mojo.
