Fw: Issue with Open office
Dear Team,
I have been working on Open Office for last 2 months.
The below list contains some of the problems which I have been facing continuously. Some other issues which I haven’t mentioned here are very minor but still effects the entire work.
We hope that we will get positive response.
SL. No ISSUES
1 Iferror with Vlookup doesn't work
2 Find & Replace doesn't work for selected area, it replaces for all sheet
3 Can not select blanks in Filter
4 Can not apply standard filter at two places
5 Linking of files don't work properly
6 Shortcut for Format paste
7 Graphs are not advanced
8 Vlookup doesn't work properly from one file to another
9 For using formulas you have to click on the function key, can't use it with keyboard
10 If condition don't work
11 Any two formula don't work together , e.g below
Index+Match
Vlookup+Choose
Vlookup+Max
12 Ctrl+D doesn't work
13 Pivot cant be in classical format
14 Don't fix the array by itself
15 Paste special & delete command is very time consuming
16 Shortcut keys for Home options

It is totally wrong that you send all these mails to me. So please stop it.
I get long-mails every day from other Open Office Employees and users, but I have not registered myself into any group, and my OpenOffice works perfectly.

Could you inform us what OS and version you have installed AOO on and which version of AOO you have installed.
Further it is better if you send a separate email for each question together with examples.
Please describe exactly what you are doing when an error occurred and include the error message.
This way you can expect better response.

Thanks for the report, but we would need more information to use it: you
should enter your 16 problems individually in
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/
(free registration, same page).
An example of a complete issue report is

About your specific examples: some can be solved with
http://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation/Administration_Guide/Customizing_the_UI
and some are very likely already in Bugzilla; I recommend that you
search there there before entering them.

A report with entries like
10 If condition don't work
cannot really be used. The minimum a bug reporter must do is to put
developers/testers in the conditions to reproduce the problem he is
describing. We won't be able to fix problems unless you file them in the
right way:

That's wonderful. A program whose developers and QAs need to ask user what
the problems are or how the product should work, is such a wonderful
