Modifying DisplayClustering to view custom clustering output

Has anyone tried modifying the DisplayClustering and other clustering
visualization classes to view the results of a specific clustering job run
on user specified input data? Seems like something which many clustering
users would want to see.

Mahout-333 puts this in the category of a 3 month long project...

After running canopy+kmeans on a large corpus of protein structure data, I'm
itching to "see" the results.

Check out the Knime program at www.knime.org. It's a big data
visualization app. I learned a lot about data mining from using it. I
know there are bio packages available.
