Spark currently depends on a forked version of {{sbt-pom-reader}} which we build from source. It would be great to port our modifications to the upstream project so that we can migrate to the official version and stop maintaining our fork.
[~scrapcodes@gmail.com], could you edit this ticket to fill in more detail about which custom changes have not been ported yet?
