is it possible to send an email out after a new tag is created?

Hey there,

I just wanted to know if there's a possibility to send out an email -
maybe with the post-commit hook - but ONLY when a new tag got created?
And if so, is there maybe somebody who already did that so I do not have to reinvent the wheel?
