[jira] [Commented] (FALCON-24) Allow re-run of timedout instances

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FALCON-24?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13713273#comment-13713273 ]

Srikanth Sundarrajan commented on FALCON-24:
--------------------------------------------

Thanks. Have some observations on the patch.

* assertCoordStatus should attempt to check the status a few times before throwing exception preferably with a sleep

* coord action can be in running, waiting or ready state. This needs to be checked in the assertCoordStatus

* There is a Thread.sleep() left behind in the patch before the status is returned

* This patch may not pass Checkstyle checks. Run mvn verify before the patch is uploaded. I have put down some guidelines relating to this. Please refer: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/FALCON/How+To+Contribute
