[jira] Created: (MAPREDUCE-1025) Subprocesses of tasks should be killed even if mapred.userlog.limit.kb is set to a positive value

Subprocesses of tasks should be killed even if mapred.userlog.limit.kb is set to a positive value
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: MAPREDUCE-1025
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MAPREDUCE-1025
             Project: Hadoop Map/Reduce
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: tasktracker
    Affects Versions: 0.21.0, 0.22.0
            Reporter: Ravi Gummadi
            Assignee: Ravi Gummadi
             Fix For: 0.21.0, 0.22.0

setsid is to be used when launching tasks even when the deprecated mapred.userlog.limit.kb(or the new mapreduce.task.userlog.limit.kb) is set to a positive value --- sothat subprocesses of tasks get killed properly.
