Ishara Dilhari Premadasa commented on AIRAVATA-518:
---------------------------------------------------
Hi Marlon,
I would like to try on this task. There are few things i wanted to clarify.
1. Since Airavata now uses Git for version control i am bit unclear how to use svn checkin numbers in order to get versions.
2. I can see that Airavata.Client exposes API method getAPIVersion() which can be used to get version. Also there is a class called airavataAPIConstants in airavata-api-stubs package which also contains AIRAVATA_API_VERSION. Can't we utilize one of these two in displaying the version number?
Thank you very much!

> There should be a way to get a version of the XBaya UI that you are using. This should be very fine grained (SVN checkin number, for example). This may help clear up ambiguities.
