[jira] Updated: (TAPESTRY-1948) Null point exception when performing a partial page render

Howard M. Lewis Ship updated TAPESTRY-1948:
-------------------------------------------

    Priority: Blocker (was: Major)
Summary: Null point exception when performing a partial page render (was: Ajax support in Safari appears broken)

Also working out how to send a text/javascript response, but use the appropriate markup writer encoding.

> Key: TAPESTRY-1948
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TAPESTRY-1948
> Project: Tapestry
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: tapestry-core
> Affects Versions: 5.0.7
> Reporter: Howard M. Lewis Ship
> Assignee: Howard M. Lewis Ship
> Priority: Blocker
>
> It appears so far that Safari does not support the X-Requested-With header used to recognize Ajax requests. Thus the Ajax component events bomb on the return value.
