Kai Zheng updated HADOOP-11996:
-------------------------------
Description: While working on HADOOP-11540 and etc., it was found useful to write the basic facilities based on Intel ISA-L library separately from JNI stuff. It's also easy to debug and troubleshooting, as no JNI or Java stuffs are involved. (was: While working on HADOOP-11540 and etc., it was found useful to write the basic facilities based on Intel ISA-L library separately from JNI stuff so they can be utilized to compose a useful sample coder. Such sample coder can serve as a good illustration for how to use the ISA-L library, meanwhile it's easy to debug and troubleshooting, as no JNI or Java stuffs are involved.)
Summary: Native erasure coder facilities based on ISA-L (was: Native erasure coder basic facilities with an illustration sample)
