Platform: All
URL: http://194.64.127.200/test.pdf
OS/Version: other
Status: NEW
Severity: major

AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
ReportedBy: s.schick@bytework.de
Hi,
Try to upload this specific file.
http://194.64.127.200/test.pdf
On all my Apache server configuration, this action fails,
except of one, no matter of the OS, and no matter of the Apache and PHP version.
The good one is running in SSL mode. (Apache 1.3 and PHP 4.2.x)
All other uploads work fine on all servers, too.
The error is: "Page not found"
// The apache Log is the following
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx - - [20/Dec/2005:10:58:02 +0100] "POST /webexp/index.php
HTTP/1.1" 200 8070 "http://hostname/dir/index.php" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible;
MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.40607)"
regards

Apache isn't responsible for uploading your file. It's your script or module.
In this case, apparently called "/webexp/index.php".

Even here, when try to upload the file, Mozilla reports:
"Connection was reset",
and IE reports:
"Page not found" error...
Please download the file from the given URL above in order to test it !!!

Thanks for your reply.
But, it is definetely not my script!
The code works fine for all my files, except this one.
Moreover, when i try to "create a New Attachment" at this Bugzilla's site
the upload fails with the same error... that's really strange.
You may try it yourself, too.
Please use the test file http://194.64.127.200/test.pdf
kind regards.

I can confirm that your file works fine with a simple Perl CGI upload script.
