I'm trying to update the mod_perl FAQ but it seems I am missing at
least one clue :-(

Here is the scenario:

- I have an account on taz.apache.org
- I've put my ssh/authorized_keys there (ssh login works fine)
- I have setenv CVS_SERVER /usr/local/bin/cvs
          setenv CVS_RSH /usr/local/bin/ssh
          setenv CVSROOT taz.apache.org:/export/home/cvs
  on my home machine
- and setenv CVSROOT /export/home/cvs/
          setenv CVS_RSH /usr/local/bin/ssh
          setenv CVS_SERVER /usr/local/bin/cvs
  on taz.

- When I try to checkout the faq, I get
  % cvs checkout modperl/faq
Sorry, you don't have read/write access to the history file /export/home/cvs/CVSROOT/history
  Permission denied
- Same message if I try "cvs checkout modperl"

Re: Checkout question

Posted by Brian Behlendorf <br...@hyperreal.org>.
No it is, I forgot to add you three to the generic "cvs" group as well.
That's now fixed, sorry about that.
