How Trident Process Exactly once?

HI,

According to storm document Trident process tuples exactly once!, here it is possible by implementing trident state only!
i designed sample trident application without implementing trident state  is is correct approach while dealing with trident topologies or it is mandatory!.

while running  trident topologies examples in cluster mode can i run trident topology examples into multiple supervisors!


Please help with below elements of Trident  ui in storm,what is the use of below elements ?
