Fwd: SVN equivalent to Log

Sorry What I meant was a subversion equivalent to the CVS log keyword.
The Id keyword does not include the log comments.

Thanks

Subject: CVS equivalent to Log
To: users@subversion.tigris.org

Hi

I am new to subversion coming from CVS, one of the useful CVS keywords
is the log keyword which allows the log messages to be placed in
source files using keyword substiution, is there any equivalent in
SVN?

Thanks

In short, I don't believe "$Log$" will ever be implemented. It's been
discussed in the past, check the archives.

A good thread seems to be:

also possibly:
