Desktop breadcrumbs

Is there a breadcrumbs trail that I am missing for the desktop theme?
I can't seem to get back to the home page when I am in the public
folder.

I am using Firefox 1.0.7 on Suse 10.

I would like to make a suggestion. Create a tab (by modifying the
theme) that says New Tab which given the users access rights would
allow the user to create a new tab. This new tab would have one
portlet by default which says "Add more content" which opens the
portlet chooser.

not implemented yet. Desktop is undergoing a lot of change lately, we'll
get the breadcrumb menu included, thanks
