I was just curious in what druid was using perl for, I found out that is just in the `examples/bin` scripts.

All deps are already included perl5 core since the version from March 25, 1996, so I think that "any" perl (five) interpreter available on recent distros will do. Perl code tends to keep running fine for years.

Fun fact (or not so much fun for some people), after year-long discussions, perl 6 was renamed to `raku` and usually it's easier to find it using rakulang.

Perl 5 version 34 was supposed to called Perl 7 (based on version 32, with some new default options) but that delayed and they gave up again. I because it's still too backward compatible with perl5 , so perl 7 and 8 and 9 will not exist for a while
