A Word 2003 document containing URLs

I have a Microsoft Word 2003 document, aslo saved as an RTF document,
containing the URL:

http://www.networking-consultancy.com/index_files/picture_gallery_index_2.htm

When either the DOC or RTF file is opened in Writer and exported as a PDF, the
text in the PDF accurately reflects the document text but the underlying URL
generated is:

http://www.networkingconsultancy.com/index_files/picture_gallery_index_2.htm

Note that the hyphen between "networking" and "consultancy" is missing in the
generated URL.

I attach a copy of the Word document in case you require it.

Thank you for your reply. As a result, I have fixed the problem and it was not
due to Open Office Writer.

It never occurred to me that the problem was with Microsoft Word, although the
clue is in the product title. It seems that the root cause of the problem was
that I had saved the original document as an RTF and it looks like it was that
which ignored the hyphen. When I opened the DOC version and retyped the link in
the document, the hyphen in the URL appeared as if by magic and I deleted the
original URL reference.

My apologies to all for jumping to the wrong conclusion.

Not reproduce with AOO 4.1.1 and Win7 x64 Pro
- Open August.doc
- File > Export as PDF
-Open August.pdf
- Go to page 7
- The URL is correct

I have downloaded the PDF, opened it and the hyphen in the URL on page 7 of the
document is missing. The display text of the link is fine but the underlying
URL is missing the hyphen.

OK but when I open your .DOC with MS-Word viewer.
And I still see this URL with a missing hyphen.

So AOO can't fix a wrong document :-)
