[jira] [Commented] (FALCON-77) application logs at getting created at wrong place

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FALCON-77?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13730751#comment-13730751 ]

Srikanth Sundarrajan commented on FALCON-77:
--------------------------------------------

Samarth, We can't default the logs dir to /var/log/falcon as this directory may not exist. In its current form, we are writing logs to <<falcon-home>>/logs. This behavior can be modified by appropriately overriding the configuration in log4j.xml. Please revert back if you see a concern with this approach, else we can close this.
