Questions about b9's site

First off, I like all the new forms of output I get by default on my
generated maven site. Even better if we were actually putting TODO's in
the source :)

Some questions though:

1) Why have JavaDocs, Test Xref and Source Xref in twice? It seems
pointless to have them under Project Reports.

2) Why have Licence under Project Reports?

3) Front Page has been bothering me for a while. Just in terms of
labelling, it feels quite wrong. It's really 'About Xxx' and when
custom documentation is written the Front Page link does not stay at the
top of the left-hand navbar. Is there a way too configure this? I'm not
very hot with the navigation.xml yet.

4) Is there a way to turn off the 'Powered by Maven' logo? For Lang it's
fine as it shows good Apache advertising, but for other projects I use
Maven for the colour-scheme might not go very well.

It's now 'About ${pom.name}'. See http://maven.apache.org for an example.

I'm not explaining myself properly.

Without a navigation.xml, Maven creates one major menu called 'Project
Documentation' with 7 sub-menu's, the first of which is the index/home.

http://www.generationjava.com/maven/jakarta-commons/lang/ is an example.

If I add a navigation.xml, and various xdoc'd documents, I get a site much
like: http://www.osjava.org/simple-jndi/

The new menu named 'Overview' is my name, but the major problem is that I
think 'Front Page' [or About Simple-JNDI as I'd like it called] should be
the top link in Overview. I think it's pretty common for a user to think
of the first link as 'home'.

I could do this by hand, though I'd need a way to turn off the
automatically generated Maven frontpage. I could also just not understand
the complexities in navigation.xml enough.

In your project.properties -

maven.xdoc.poweredby.image=maven-bolt.png

There are quite a few logos -
src/plugins-build/xdoc/plugin-resources/images/logos (from memory)

To disable it
maven.xdoc.poweredby.image=
