[jira] [Reopened] (INFRA-6229) jakarta-commons does not redirect to
commons
Sebb reopened INFRA-6229:
-------------------------
Thanks, the original issue is fixed.
However there are still some *.py files that contain only a link to the new Wiki.
For example:
cocoonlenya.py
jakartahivemind.py
jakartajmeter.py
jakartalucene.py
jakartatomcat.py
jakartaturbine.py
jakartavelocity.py
lucenehadoop.py
AFAICT these are now useless so the files could/should be deleted.

> There are still some references around to the jakarta-commons wiki.
> Unlike most other jakarta wikis, there is no redirect in place.
> Other Wiki redirects have been done by creating a link between the old and the new wiki names, and installing both the old and the new wikinames in farmconfig.py.
> If that is all that is required, the attached patch should be suffiicient.
> By the way, would it not be simpler to use HTTP redirects? Or does that not cover all possible references?
