bq. those goals are specific to the CRX package manager of adobe's product and are not included in this plugin (adobe will create a distinct package manager client plugin). 

Now that version 1.0.0 of this plugin is about to be released can you share further insights which plugin is recommended for deployment with the Adobe CRX Package Manager?
