jar files in mahout

Hey,

 

I realized that there are a whole bunch of jar files that come with the
mahout project, for example, commons-logging-1.1.1.jar. I was just
wondering if these jar files are licensed under the Apache license as
well?

They are either ASL or ASL friendly (BSD, etc.).  There should be a  
NOTICES.txt and LICENSES.txt file in the root of the Mahout directory  
that covers all the various licenses.  There are no (L)GPL or "viral"  
licenses.
