Im found little pb if enable deflate module and disable dso :
.../server/exports.c: undefined reference to `apr_dso_load'
.../server/exports.c: undefined reference to `apr_dso_unload'
.../server/exports.c: undefined reference to `apr_dso_sym'
.../server/exports.c: undefined reference to `apr_dso_error'
.../server/exports.c: undefined reference to `apr_os_dso_handle_put'
.../server/exports.c: undefined reference to `apr_os_dso_handle_get'

You passed --disable-dso to configure?
It looks like you disabled DSO support in APR, not just disabling mod_so in httpd.
Try --enable-deflate=static and only pass --disable-so, instead of --disable-dso.
