   @Tom-Newton I did get started with the skeleton PR, but feel free to take it over if you have the time. I should be able to get something ready for this weekend.
   
   Great to see the performance numbers! I currently use Arrow's HDFS filesystem since ADLS has support for it, but it's very memory intensive. I believe a C++ Azure filesystem should be much lighter, but I haven't had the chance to test it out yet.
