Apache Drill Hangout – Sept. 5th, 2017.

(Note: There would be no Drill Hangout on Sept 19 !)

Attendees: Sorabh, Sindhu, Padma, Hanumath, Arina, Vitalii, Volodymyr, Vova, Pritesh, Aman, Vlad, Boaz

The main discussion topic was the forthcoming Drill Developers Day on Sept. 18. (See Aman’s original “Hackathon” email from Aug 24). More detailed email should be forthcoming (on the dev list, and/or a meetup).

We discussed the agenda for the day, including forming sub-teams to focus on areas for presentations and discussions.
Given the time limits, the idea is to initiate discussions then and continue in depth separately later (e.g. via hangouts).

Initial assignment of people to topics was made; to make changes wait for the form (shared Excel) to be shared.

For remote attendees: The remote connection into the event is not yet finalized.

Last but not least: This is a developers event, not users!
