I was able to replicate this bug. The step by step process to reproduce this
bug is mentioned in detail with the screenshots in the attachment named as
"Graphical Illustration". In the last step even after pressing the backspace,
the indentation doesn't go to its original place. Here the writer doesn't exit
the numbering mode.
So, even after hitting the enter key multiple times and writing a couple of
more statements, the indentation is not found back to its original place.
