--------------------------------
JCS 1.3.0 is compatible with JDK's 1.3 and up.
I recommend using the latest RC build jcs-1.3.3.3-RC. It's compiled under JDK 1.4.2. This tempbuilds have many bug fixes and feature enhancements.

Aaron Smuts commented on JCS-64:
--------------------------------
JDK's are almost completely backward compatible. I can't think of any problems. But you shouldn't use such an old version. There have been 5 years of bug fixes and improvements since the 1.0 temp build.
