[Bug 123522] New: Calc 4.0 and 4.0.1 error in first day of month
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=123522
Bug ID: 123522
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Calc 4.0 and 4.0.1 error in first day of month
Product: Calc
Version: 4.0.1
Hardware: PC
OS: Windows 8
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: ui
Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
Reporter: eneiaslr@gmail.com
CC: issues@openoffice.apache.org
Created attachment 81795

It is just some errors of data in Calc version 4.0.1
All dates formed by the first day of the month, for each month in the years
1901 to 1914 appear in the wrong calc 4.0 and 4.0.1
No matter what date format you use, British, USA, Brazilian or otherwise, as I
tested.
Date
1/1/1901, you get 31/12/1900, but 2/1/1901, you get the correct 2/1/1901
1/9/1901, you get 31/08/1901, but 2/9/1901, you get the correct 2/9/1901
I tested several dates, but only found errors until 1914.
I tryed upgrade to version 4.0.1 but it isnt solved.
I hope it could help OpenOffice to be even better.

I was not able to replicate this bug on Windows 8 64 bit, AOO401m5(Build:9714
Rev 1524958) ver 4.0.1.
Alternative replication steps:
1. Using the default date format
2. Typed in 1/1/1901, got 01/01/01
3. Typed in 1/9/1901, got 01/09/01

Screenshot of What I got in Widows 8 64 bits
When I type 1/1/1901 I get 31/12/1900 (exactly a day before), but if I use
year() funcion of Calc I get correct year (1901), weekday shows the correct day
too.
So it must be an error in Windows 8 version of OpenOffice.
