Justin, what do you think about the following rating proposal? [1]
- *9–10 points → On Track* — Podling shows strong signals of community
health and ASF alignment. Maintain the current pace and begin planning
toward graduation milestones.
- *5–8 points → Making Progress* — Podling is moving forward, but a few
areas need extra attention. Work with mentors to set one to two clear goals
for the next quarter.
- *0–4 points → At Risk* — Key signals are missing or weak. Collaborate
with mentors and the IPMC to agree on a short-term recovery plan. If
challenges persist, re-evaluate the podling’s path.

Yep, totally onboard with the process, it's super helpful. Thanks for
putting this together. As far as Iggy is concerned, we would benefit from
having more active mentors (thanks to our current mentors for their help
thus far, but they seem to be busy lately). We will initiate another thread
seeking additional mentors!

No, you are not missing anything. I think I originally had another category and removed it, but didn't update the scoring. Again, the score isn't the important thing; the process is. I’ll fix this.

and each category is scored 0-2, so overall it's 10, how's 12 calculated?

The report template can be auto-generated and populated with some data, see incubator/tools/6MonthReview/ in the incubator repo, but it does need human input to adjust the “scores”. It's more of a self-reflection exercise or something to start conversations with your mentors to identify any gaps or where more work might be needed.
