You have to use the version of Avalon provided with James. James 3.x
(not even close to an alpha) should support the Avalon 4.x releases.

James, Phoenix, FreeBSD error

Posted by David Stastny <da...@tritonus-tech.com>.
Hi folks,

I am trying to run James 2.1.3 (inside a Phoenix 4.0.1) on FreeBSD 4.8
with JDK 1.3.1 but I am getting the following error:

Using PHOENIX_HOME: /usr/local/james-2.1.3
Using PHOENIX_TMPDIR: /usr/local/james-2.1.3/temp
Using JAVA_HOME: /usr/local/jdk1.3.1/
Running Phoenix:

Phoenix 4.0.1

There was an uncaught exception:

Upgrading Phoenix to 4.0.3 did not help.

Thanks for any help,

David

Not custom per-user in the current code, but there is support for fixed
quotas.
