getRouterAlerts.sh

Hi,

My ACS environment is 4.7. I have seen getRouterAlerts.sh. But according
to CLOUDSTACK-9183
it should not be there in this version of ACS. Anybody know why
getRouterAlerts.sh is there and If I upgrade to 4.8, will it fix?

Re: getRouterAlerts.sh

Hi,

We have a feature to monitor and bring back the services running on the VR which needs to run always.
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/CLOUDSTACK/Monitoring+VR+services

Any actions taken during this monitoring will be logged only in VR. To get the events back to Management server, we run getRouterAlerts.sh which reads the events in VR and push back the events to management server for event logging.

I’m not sure why this is missing, will get back to you soon.

Thanks,
Harikrishna
