[lucy-issues] [jira] [Commented] (CLOWNFISH-118) Recent Perl 5 commit broke fresh_host_methods

Nick Wellnhofer commented on CLOWNFISH-118:
-------------------------------------------

It seems that this change will be shipped with Perl 5.28:

https://perl5.git.perl.org/perl.git/commitdiff/7d65f652cb34981f4cb53a56496f5712f740d496?hp=d96402565ccd7459d3a8bc4074f177d00bbefeeb

I'll commit a fix, then we should get a new release out.

> According to CPAN Testers, a Perl 5 commit between 95db2efbae5edc9942892a1153e1db8056d6ca06 (good) and a68a847ef5e609337bd3f538810884d3b918bfb8 (bad) broke Class#fresh_host_methods. It's probably one of the commits Father Chrysostomos made on Oct 8th and it's possibly something that will get fixed in Perl before 5.28. But maybe it really requires our attention.
