[GitHub] [opennlp-sandbox] mawiesne commented on pull request #71: Update sandbox component 'opennlp-similarity' to be compatible with latest opennlp-tools release

@jzonthemtn I absolutely agree on this. My main goal with reviving the sandbox components is: to enable us to make informed decisions. With that in mind, and once everything compiles, passes existing tests, and is compatible with 2.1.x, I'd like to introduce a "parent" pom.xml that unifies all those sandbox projects so we can make use of CI/GH actions tooling, like in the main "tools" project.

I you, and of course: others, agree, I'd be happy to move it to a point where we can better evaluate if proposed changes improve or degrade the state of one of those sandbox projects. At least, see if it causes compile errors or decreases checks on style and so on.

That said, there is an orphaned copy (?) of the "dl" component, already integrated into the tools project (?), that resides here in the sandbox as well. Could your elaborate a bit, what you know on the state of it, or if we can drop it directly here?

   Thanks in advance.
