[jira] Commented: (HARMONY-956) Classpath problems with JRE 442571 ? (discovered with ActiveMQ 4.0.1)

Geir Magnusson Jr commented on HARMONY-956:
-------------------------------------------

Things are *slightly* better w/ latest snapshot, 428649. The stack message goes away, but we staill can't find the emory backport class. The problem isn't there when using the J9 vm and Harmony classlib, so this does appar to be a DRLVM bug. Going to assign it to that category as well.

> When launching active MQ via "bin/activemq", I get the following error :
> ACTIVEMQ_HOME: c:\dev\tools\activemq\incubator-activemq-4.0.1
> Loading message broker from: xbean:activemq.xml
> ERROR: Destructive unwinding: C++ objects detected on stack!
> droping 0x05BEF584
> setting curr 0x05BEFF68
> Failed to execute main task. Reason: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: edu/emory/mathcs/backport/java/util/concurrent/lock
> s/ReentrantLock$FairSync
> The backport jar is in the lib directory, so I beleive that there may be some classpath/classloader issue here. I don't know if the quoted error re unwinding is a cause, synptom, or something else.
