A question about time synchronization

Does activemq assume any time synchronization between the producer, broker
and consumer?
Thanks,
Hagai.

As I understand it, the time to live mechanism requires the producer and
consumer to have synchronized clocks. Alternately, there is a broker plugin
that, when enabled, changes the requirement to be synchronization between
broker and consumer.
