   With #5956 and #5960 merged, I believe the consolidation work tracked by this issue is complete.
   
   The remaining follow-up work is tracked separately:
   
   * #5633 — remaining date_trunc per-row format/DST issue
   * #5994 — native hash/xxhash64 support for wide decimals
   * #6717 — vectorize the lower-bound check in native date_trunc
   
   I think this issue can now be closed.
