Using Adobe Air for running OpenMeetings on iOS ?

I think we have discussed that previously and I think you wanted to test
it. Or somebody else? I can't remember.
Was there some result for that test?

Thanks!

Okay I think I got it:
After I signed up as Apple Developer with my Apple ID I have now to buy a
subscription from their plan: https://developer.apple.com/programs/ios/

Right?

I may start a thread at the general incubator list, maybe there is a
certain discount or even for free access similar to what Mircosoft offers
to Apache Foundation committers with their free MSDN access.

Without "Flash builder" it can be done using "ADT Helper Tool"

You can try compiling the application to HTML5 instead of Flash usign
OpenLaszlo.
But I guess you will need to start with smaller examples then compiling the
whole app at once.

Re: Using Adobe Air for running OpenMeetings on iOS ?

It might be also possible to natively compile the Air application from our
current setup.
OpenLaszlo does integrate Flex. So it should be possible to compile an Air
App instead of a SWF.

... my intend is still to use HTML5 for iOS on the long run and only
externalize those parts that are not possible. However having an Air
application should be just a matter of configuration.
Maybe we simply try to get the Air Runtime running in general, it could be
useful for people that want to install the client locally instead of using
a browser applet. If it is a possible workaround for iOS as long as there
is no other chance it would be great.
Lets see what the general list will tell us about distributing "native" iOS
applications.

I already got apple developer ID.
Now I need $99 :))) (the cost of certificate for 1 year
https://developer.apple.com/programs/ios/)

Here is the manual "Package AIR application for iOS"
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/articles/packaging-air-apps-ios.html

I have no Flash builder 4.5
So I followed alternate instruction how to do so with adobe SDK only
I'll send you the link

What do you need to get an Apple Developer certificate? Just an Apple ID or
something more then that?
