An web interface proposal for Tajo
Hi, guys
Nowadays, I and Hyunsik implemented a temporal web interface for the
demonstration in IEEE ICDE.
The key characteristic is the visualization of the distributed query plan.
During the implementation of the global query planner, I and Hyunsik had
horrible experience to check whether the master plan (global plan) is
correct or not.
I think that this implementation has some benefits for Tajo development
such as monitoring, debugging, and so on.
I attached some screenshots of it.
The following query is used for the test.
select l_orderkey, o_orderdate from orders, lineitem where l_orderkey =
o_orderkey and o_orderdate < '1995-03-15' and l_shipdate > '1995-03-15'
order by o_orderdate
I'd like to listen to your opinions.
Thanks,
Jihoon

Yes its really great work. Looking forward to it. I am so swamped right now
and so stoked to dig into this code!

Thanks for your comments!
Now, I'm attending the IEEE ICDE with Hyunsik.
I'm going to issue this proposal on Jira after going back to Korea.

Hi Henry,
The logo was created by my supervisor's wife 1 year ago. That logo was
included in the paper submitted in August 2012.
However, I have never thought the logo will be the official one of Apache
Tajo. I want more elegant one :) In addition, if we choose some logo, I
would like to use the voting system.
