+1.
Files in release artifacts seem to be in order and TCK runs from src
release.

Hi Tilmann,
+1
I could successfully compile and run the source distribution taken from jdo-3.2.1-RC2-source-release.zip and jdo-3.2.1-RC2-source-release.tar.gz.

Re: [VOTE] Please vote on JDO 3.2.1 release

I recently upgraded my mac to Monterey and don't recall running java since then.
java -version
java version "1.8.0_311"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_311-b11)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.311-b11, mixed mode)
I have no JAVA_HOME environment. But I have a PATH.
setenv PATH /usr/local/opt/ruby/bin:/usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/2.7.0/bin:/Users/clr/Downloads/instantclient_11_2:/opt/subversion/bin:${PATH}:/usr/local/git/bin:/opt/pdflabs/pdftk/bin:/usr/local/bin:/Users/clr/ant/apache-ant-1.6.5/bin:/Users/clr/bin:${MAVEN_HOME}/bin:/opt/local/bin:/opt/local/sbin:/Users/clr/android-sdk-mac_86/tools:$MYSQL_HOME/bin:/opt/gradle/gradle-3.5/bin:/Users/clr/jbake-2.5.1/bin:/Users/clr/Downloads/phantomjs-2.1.1-macosx/bin
But my local build problem is not a reason to not vote if others have done the build...
Thanks,
Craig

Can you verify your Java version with "java -version" and check
JAVA_HOME and PATH / LD_LIBRARY_PATH (whatever it is on Mac)?
Also, is it expected to run "Internet Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin"?

Small problem with running the tests.
[ERROR] Failed to execute goal on project jdo-api: Could not resolve dependencies for project javax.jdo:jdo-api:jar:3.2.1-RC2: Could not find artifact com.sun:tools:jar:1.8.0 at specified path /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin/Contents/Home/../lib/tools.jar -> [Help 1]
[ERROR]
Any ideas? I get the same thing with the main branch, so it's probably something in my local envt.
Thanks,
Craig
