If you could find a copy of the offending file and attach it, that would make
this bug much easier to fix.

Just from reading the code, it looks like the sub-record stream had exactly one
byte left when it needed two.  There is some suggestion in the comments that a
'continue' record may occur, and that POI does not support this yet, but it is
really hard to tell what's going on without an example XLS file.
