[I] [Feature] [flink-agents]
tsaiggo opened a new issue, #281:

### Search before asking
- [x] I searched in the [issues](https://github.com/apache/flink-agents/issues) and found nothing similar.
### Description
I noticed that in the API project, we are using custom annotations related to MCP and agent. I was wondering if there was a specific reason for this approach instead of using the MCP SDK, or if this was by design

Hi @tsaiggo ,
Flink Agents uses MCP SDK internally. It's just not exposed to the users. Because in most cases users only need to tell the framework / model which server to connect and which prompts / tools to use. They should not need to directly interact with the MCP SDK. In that case, the annotations should be simpler and more aligned with the other APIs.
Or do you see any specific case where directly using the MCP SDK is preferred over the current annotations?

Thank you for the explanation. I took another look at the code and noticed that the @Tool-related annotations are primarily used within the testing and examples. Perhaps a custom, lightweight annotation would be a better fit for the project than introducing an external SDK. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to this project in the future."
