bean:message and html tags in the propeties file.

Hi list:

  If I put messages in a properties file that have html tags, when I use the <bean:message..../> tag to retrieve them Struts will convert somthing like <b> into &lt;b&gt; so I actually see "<b>" in the browser window instead of bold text.  Is there any way to prevent this from happening?
