[jira] [Commented] (DIRSTUDIO-1071) Cannot create entries with
custom schemas
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSTUDIO-1071?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14947473#comment-14947473 ]
Stefan Seelmann commented on DIRSTUDIO-1071:
--------------------------------------------
You mean the schema here: https://directory.apache.org/apacheds/basic-ug/2.3.1-adding-schema-elements.html#using-apache-directory-studio-schema-editor-to-load-the-new-schema-elements ?
This does't define an attribute type "ship", but an object class with that name. Instead it defines an attribute type "numberOfGuns". A valid entry would look like this:
{code}
dn: cn=HMS Bounty,dc=example,dc=com
objectClass: ship
objectClass: top
cn: HMS Bounty
numberOfGuns: 4
{code}
