Hi,
I have a typical scenario in JSF and iam using commons validator. The requirement is that we need to display different error messages one a short (summary)message aligned with the field where a validation error is encountered and another a detailed error message at the top of the page where the validation error is encountered.
i wanted to implement the regular expression validations on the field with commons validator but it allows setting of only one message and perhaps that gets set both as detail and summary and hence the same message is displayed in both the places.
Kindly help me out. Incase there are any further queries please let me know.
