[jira] [Commented] (SOLR-6944) ReplicationFactorTest and
HttpPartitionTest both fail with org.apache.http.NoHttpResponseException:
The target server failed to respond

Erick Erickson commented on SOLR-6944:
--------------------------------------
I happen to be in this code for ReplicationFactorTest anyway and the BadApple annotation hasn't been removed in ReplicationFactorTest although it has been in HttpPartitionTest.
Since I want to beef up these tests anyway (adding min_rf to deletes too) I propose that I:
1> remove the BadApple annotation
2> beast the heck out of it
3> add my tests
If all that works, I'll check it all in and close this ticket along with SOLR-11438 (the issue I'm working on that lead me here in the first place).
Objections?

> Our only recourse is to do a client side retry on such errors. I have some retry code for this from SOLR-4509 that I will pull over here.
