LdapTemplate is a Java framework to simplify LDAP operations, based on the pattern of Spring's JdbcTemplate. It has become quite popular, with downloads now reaching 500-600 per month.
The framework has recently been added as a Spring sub-project, and future releases will be under the name Spring LDAP.
