Steps how to reproduce Reproducible with "AOO 4.0.1 Release – German UI /
German locale [AOO401m5(Build:9714)  -  Rev. 1524958 2013-09-20 11:40:29]" on
German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", “historic” 4.0 User Profile used for all
predecessor versions:

0. Open attached Sample document
1. Doubleclick Ole Text object. 
2. Check that menu 'View → Field shadings' is active
   > grey field shades for all Formatting marks except last 2
3. Doubleclick Draw Text box.
   > Compared to Ole Text object: first 3 field shadings are missing

Additional Info
(a) unexpected effect: menu 'View → Field shadings' without influence in 
    Draw Text box, “No-width optional break” and “No-width no break” 
    keep shadings also with inactive 'Field shadings'.
    Probably different separate issue 
(b) Not a new problem, similar already in OOo 1.1.5
(c) I think all shadings shown in OLE Text object also should be shown
    in Text box.
